Painting your office to reflect your branding
It can be beneficial when taking into consideration your business goals, client interaction, and company culture.
If clients or partners visit your office, First Impressions count. The office and reception colour scheme, its design, and overall aesthetic become a visual expression of your company. It signals to your clients and partners professionalism, consistency, and attention to detail.
Consistent use of brand colours and themes in the physical workspace reinforces your Brand Identity and goes a long way to help your own employees and visitors internalise what the brand stands for. It helps in creating a unified brand experience across digital and physical taspects of your company.
A well-branded space can boost Employee Morale and Culture in the the workplace.
Using the right colours aligned with your brand, is also well documented to influence mood and productivity. Blues, Greens and Red individually can bring calm, growth and energy.
When considering Social Media & Recruitment a visually branded office photographs well, assisting in providing quality marketing materials, and job postings.
The brand identity shows that you care about the work environment, which in turn can help attract and retain talent.
You dont need to go overboard with the branding, even creating accent walls, branded signage, or themed meeting rooms additional to the reception can be effective.
Its imperative though that you stick to your companies brand guidelines, especially with primary colours, logos, and tone.
Painting your property prior to Sale or Letting
First impressions count and a fresh coat of paint can make your home look more inviting, well-maintained, and modern. It can make the property stand out from other properties advertised in your area.
A redecorated house can increase its market value. Neutral non offending colors like whites, grays, and beige are often favored and allows potential buyers to envision their own style. If your home is in good shape but has old, chipped and tired paintwork, new paint can make it look more polished and updated, helping you justify a higher asking price.
if a house is well-painted, buyers tend to assume that it’s been regularly maintained. If the paint is chipped, dirty or discoloured, it can give the impression that other parts of the home haven't been properly cared for either, which could turn buyers off. A newly decorated home signals that the property is in good condition overall.
If your interior is dull or dated and looking tired and neglected, painting is one of the most affordable ways to make it feel fresh and modern. Light neutral colours tend to open up space and make rooms feel bigger, and these neutral tones help potential buyers envision how their furniture and belongings will look and fit.
There is also the psychological effect on buyers as they can sometimes be influenced by the emotional appeal of the home. A newly decorated house can make the property feel more "move-in ready," helping potential buyers envisage themselves living there. It also offers a sense of cleanliness and newness, even if the house is older.
In a competitive London housing market, where buyers have plenty of choice in available properties, a newly painted home may stand out and can help you attract more attention and potentially lead to a faster offer.
If you've decorated the house in bright, bold colors or unusual finishes, it is imperative to neutralize personal style. Potential buyers may be put off by your bold choices. Painting over these with neutral tones helps buyers focus on the house itself and not be distracted by the personal choice of decor, which they will see as something they’d have to change once thhey have moved in.
Painting you property is one of the more affordable home improvements you can make. It’s a relatively low-cost investment compared to renovations and can provide a high return in terms of aesthetics and perceived value.
